Sa Mina

In 1930, Lloseta and mineshaft throughout the region produced 85% of coal from the island, aimed at generating electricity. Lloseta had three mineshaft in operation for over 100 years, Sa truyola, St. Thomas and Can Ramis). These three were open until 1973.

Sa Truiola passed to the City Council that the rehabilitated turning it into a major civic and cultural center with a small playground. Sa Truiola retains the main building and the old fireplace restored mining. It is the testimony of the recent past who lived many generations.

At the entrance of the village from Binissalem, you can see a sculpture representing a miner out of the mine with trucks that refers to the mining past.
